Currently I teach students of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Skoltech, and Higher School of Economics each spring semester.
Course on the Aproximate Methods of Analytical Computations
(together with M. Kovaleva and D. Shapiro)
The spring semester 2019 lectures will take place at Department of Physics, Higher School of Economics, Staraya Basmannaya 21/4,
room B-814, each Wednesday from 15:10 till 16:30
The spring semester 2019 seminars will take place at Department of Physics, Higher School of Economics, Staraya Basmannaya 21/4,
room B-814 (for lab group 1) each Wednesday from 16:40 till 18:00 ; for lab groups 2 and 3 seminars will take place at room B-804 from

Each successful presentation costs maximaly 1 point.
The first writing test is scheduled on February 6, 2019, the second - on March 13, 2019.
The actual information on the course can be found here (for Burmistrov's group), here (for Kovaleva's group),

The spring semester 2019 lectures will take place at Skoltech Campus, Bolshoy b-d 30c1, room E-R3-C2-2008, each Monday from 9:00 till 12:00
The first lecture is schedule on January 28, 2019. The last lecture and exam are expected on March 18, 2018
Lecture notes can be downloaded here: Part I and Part II.
Each student has to solve three problems from the Problem Set I (one problem should be from Chapter 4 and one from Chapter 6 of the Lecture notes,
the third one on your choice from the Lecture notes)
and three problems from the Problem Set II .
It should be no overlap between problems chosen by different students. The deadline is March 17, 2019.
At the examination a student should explain solutions of chosen problems. Exam is scheduled on March 18, 2019.
Each student needs to chose 2 problems from the Problem Set I and 2 problems from the Problem Set II.
It should be no overlap between problems chosen by different students. Also, similar problems for one student are not allowed.
Deadline is March 17, 2019
The exam includes discussion of the problems solved and a short presentation (15 min) of a paper from the list.
